Job Description

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping: o Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate journal entries. o Supervise day-to-day accounting operations including A/P, A/R, and cash handling. o Prepare and reconcile bank statements monthly. 2. Taxation & Compliance: o Handle GST, TDS, and income tax filings. o Ensure timely payment of taxes and statutory dues. o Assist with audits (internal, statutory, GST) and coordinate with auditors. 3. Financial Reporting: o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. o Generate MIS reports for management analysis. o Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. 4. Payroll & Salary Processing: o Oversee salary calculations, PF, ESIC deductions, and other payroll compliance. o Coordinate with HR for payroll changes or discrepancies. 5. Vendor & Client Reconciliation: o Ensure timely reconciliation of vendor and customer accounts. o Follow up on outstanding payments and manage collections. 6. Inventory & Asset Management: o Maintain accounting for fixed assets and depreciation. o Oversee stock and inventory control from an accounting perspective. 7. Software & Data Management: o Use Tally ERP, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software efficiently. o Maintain backup and accuracy of financial data. 8. Team Support & Supervision: o Mentor and guide junior accountants or interns. o Review entries, reports, and ensure compliance with internal policies.
