A PHP Developer is responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing web-based applications using PHP, one of the most popular server-side scripting languages. The role involves writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code to develop dynamic websites and web applications. A PHP Developer collaborates with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. They work with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, manage APIs and third-party integrations, and ensure the application’s performance, scalability, and security. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of PHP frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony, be proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and possess good problem-solving skills.
