• Minimum educational qualification: high school (12th) — though a bachelor’s degree (in business, marketing, or similar) is often preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interact with prospective customers from diverse backgrounds.
• Good negotiation and closing skills; ability to handle objections and convert leads into sales without being pushy.
• Good understanding of automotive products, features, technical specifications, and — if relevant — financing/loan schemes, warranties, service plans.
• Customer-centric mindset: ability to understand customer needs, provide service, follow-up post-sale, build long-term relationships.
• Familiarity with CRM tools / basic computer skills (MS Office, data entry) to manage leads, customer data, sales records.
• Professional appearance and attitude; ability to represent showroom/dealership brand positively.
• Valid driving license (4-wheeler, if required by dealership) — may be preferred depending on poli
