UI/UX Designer – Job Description
Role Overview
A UI/UX Designer is responsible for enhancing user satisfaction by improving the usability, accessibility, and overall interaction between the user and a product. They combine design, research, and technology to create intuitive and engaging experiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. User Experience (UX) Design
Conduct user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing)
Create user personas, journey maps, and flow diagrams
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows
Identify usability issues and improve user interaction
2. User Interface (UI) Design
Design visually appealing interfaces (layouts, buttons, icons)
Maintain consistency with branding and style guidelines
Choose color schemes, typography, and visual elements
Create responsive designs for mobile, tablet, and desktop
3. Collaboration
Work with product managers, developers, and stakeholders
Present design ideas and gather feedback
Collaborate with developers to ensure proper implementation
4. Testing & Improvement
Conduct usability testing and A/B testing
Analyze user feedback and behavior
Continuously iterate and improve designs
Required Skills
Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch
Understanding of user-centered design principles
Knowledge of wireframing and prototyping
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS (optional but helpful)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Attention to detail and creativity
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field
Portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects
Experience with usability testing tools
Familiarity with design systems
