Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and compliance-driven Quality Control professional for our Ayurvedic / Pharma manufacturing unit. The role involves raw material testing, in-process checks, finished product analysis, and documentation as per GMP, AYUSH, and pharmacopoeial standards.

If you cut corners or treat SOPs casually, this role is not for you.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Testing & Inspection

Conduct testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products

Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological tests as per approved methods

Ensure compliance with API / IP / BP / USP / Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India (API-Ayurveda)

Review batch manufacturing records (BMR) and batch packaging records (BPR)

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain QC documentation, logs, COAs, and stability records

Ensure adherence to GMP, GLP, AYUSH, and Drug & Cosmetics Act

Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance checks

Handle deviation reports, OOS, and CAPA documentation

Process & Coordination

Coordinate with Production, QA, and Purchase teams

Approve or reject materials based on test results

Monitor hygiene, sanitation, and quality practices on shop floor

Support validation and calibration activities

Required Skills & Knowledge

Strong knowledge of GMP / GLP

Understanding of Ayurvedic formulations / pharma dosage forms

Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments

Good documentation and report-writing skills

Attention to detail and zero-error mindset
