Job Description
We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Sales Executive to join our team. The primary goal of this role is to drive business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, managing the entire sales cycle, and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, preferably in the Education or IT/Tech sector, and possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
Lead Generation: Proactively source new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, social selling, referrals, and field visits.
Product Presentation & Demo: Deliver engaging and tailored presentations and product demonstrations of the company's educational or IT services/products to potential clients.
Pipeline Management: Manage a complete sales cycle from initial contact to negotiation and closing deals to consistently meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales quotas (KPIs).
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and finalize contracts, terms, and pricing in alignment with company policies and client needs.
Market Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential new business opportunities.
Client Relationship Management
Customer Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain positive, long-term relationships with clients to ensure high customer satisfaction and secure repeat business and referrals.
Account Management: Oversee a portfolio of existing accounts, identifying opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling.
Issue Resolution: Act as a key point of contact for clients, promptly addressing inquiries and coordinating with internal teams (e.g., product, support) to ensure a seamless client experience.
Reporting and Operations
CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress in the company's CRM system.
Reporting: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, performance metrics, and forecasts to management.
Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to strategize on product positioning and tailor sales material.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience & Education
Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven sales experience as a Sales Executive, Business Development Executive, or a similar role, ideally within the Education or Information Technology industry.
Education: Bachelor's degree (Graduate) or higher is required.
Skills and Competencies
Proven Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to drive the full sales cycle from initial contact to deal closure.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Negotiation & Closing: Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities with a history of successful deal closures.
Goal-Oriented: Highly motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently to achieve goals.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) and standard office productivity tools (MS Office/Google Workspace).
Other Requirements: May involve frequent field work/travel, so possession of a personal vehicle (Bike/Scooter) with a valid driving license is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
Fixed Salary: ?20,000 – ?25,000 per month (In-hand salary, commensurate with experience and skills).
Incentives: Attractive and uncapped performance-based incentives for meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Working Hours: Full-time role (typically 6 days a week).
