Role Overview
As a Business Development Executive (PreSales), you will identify, nurture, and engage potential clients, helping to convert leads (from digital campaigns, direct inquiries, and online bidding platforms) into business opportunities. You’ll work closely with the sales and technical teams to tailor proposals, assist with presentations, and ensure a smooth presales process.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, connect, and qualify new business leads through digital channels, ads, direct approaches, and online bidding platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and LinkedIn.
Understand client requirements and recommend suitable software solutions.
Prepare persuasive proposals, presentations, and other sales collateral.
Coordinate between clients and technical teams for solution design and scoping.
Follow up with prospects and help close deals in alignment with monthly/quarterly targets.
Maintain CRM and sales pipeline records.
Support the team in planning and executing business development strategies.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitors.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in IT/Software PreSales or Business Development.
Proven experience in bidding and client acquisition on platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and LinkedIn.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in English (Hindi preferred).
Ability to understand technical concepts and client needs.
Experience working with CRM tools and digital lead platforms.
Highly motivated, result-oriented, and proactive.
Compensation & Benefits
